13-Mill Operator
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures compliance to ISO 9001 and 14001 requirements.

- Complies with Rolling Mill Operation Manual to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Performs size and / or section change activities based on the designated work schedule.
- Performs pass or cassette change in between operation as directed by the production foreman; actions may include pass grinding, pass welding and pass burning.
- Performs replacement of entry and / or delivery guides when the current guide/s was deemed unstable or damaged.
- Disposal of crop cuts from shear 1 and shear 2 crop buckets.
- Checking of sample at the first billet of every charge number for inspection and subsequent information to the Main Pulpit.
- Monitors mill performance by observing stock behavior.
- Stock measurement and control of stocks by adjustment of roll gap and / or guides.
- Monitors mill equipment and informs Production Supervisor for any abnormalities.
- Clearing and disposal of cobbles.

14-Pulpit Operator
Experience
- Minimum of 6 years experience in the same capacity.
- Stop Work Authority in case of major emergency situation or incident

15-Stand Fitter
Skills
- Basic Knowledge in using measuring instruments.
- Able to perform basic scientific calculations
16-Utility Technician – Rolling Mills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- -Check daily utility piping & hoses for leaks and monitors tank levels, utility system pressures, oil & water flow, temperature and other parameters based on the checklist.
- -Responds to production calls regarding mill lubrication and utility system abnormalities during mill operation.
- -Fabricates and replace damaged, corroded or leaking pipes and hoses.
- -Performs fixed time servicing of filters, regulators, lubricators & strainers.
- -Prepares spare pipes spool and hoses as spare.
- -Performs condition-based replacement of valves, cylinders, gauges, flowmeters and other utility system components.
- -Does periodic sampling of oil from hydraulic and lubrication tanks and sends to external lab for testing in coordination with Planner and Chief Engineer.
- -Performs inventory of all lubricating materials, hoses, valves, pipes & fittings to determine stocking level.
- -Maintains log and records all line abnormalities and activities done during the shift and submit it to Mechanical Shift In-Charge.
- -Calculates daily blow-down water consumption by weight calculation of water and no of trucks ( water shifting trips ) taken from blow-down tank from ICW, DCW and TMT systems.
17-EAF Operator
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Performing all the activities related to scrap car transferring, scrap preparation, material addition in the bucket, material arrangement purging exercise, and preheating activity.
- Performing the visual inspection of the shell bottom, temperature measurement, EBT flapper monitoring (during closing).
- Fire watch of surroundings (Roof gantry, Tilting Cylinders, settling chamber and materials area) during EAF process and tapping.
- They are reporting to EAF supervisor for material issuances as per the stock availability at the shop floor.
- Perform cleaning of rail tracks, scrap car, ladle car scrap charging area, tapping pit trench, electrode stands, and walkways.
- Monitor for scrap spillages around the furnace & shell rim cleaning and any leftover scrap hanging in the bucket.
- Preparation for Tapping activities like ladle availability, preheater activity, ladle condition, manual tapping additions, ladle car rails, tapping pit condition, and tapping. Inspection of purging lines, walkway movement, lancing pipes, and holders.
18-Electrical Technician
Quality Responsibilities

20-Electronic & MRSS Specialist – Steel Melting Plant
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carrying-out daily shift activities and follow-through the problems.
- Inspection of electrical-related systems, preparing the reports and reporting any abnormality observed to the higher levels and recording it in the log book.
- Proper maintenance of Automation System and updating the knowledge in PLCs, Drives (VVVF and DC drives) and other devices, software back-up taking, proper safekeeping and uploading / downloading programs to the related equipment and maintaining these systems well.
- Attending breakdowns and minimizing delays and unplanned shutdowns and conducts delay analysis with the help of Real –Time measuring systems and making necessary steps to reduce the delay.
- Monitoring and reviews regularly downtime incurred during operation; evaluates and determines possible causes of such, and draws plan to minimize or prevent its occurrence.
- Following rules & regulations of the company such as annual company leave, medical leave, working hours, shift schedule, off days and safety instructions and also following the rules of the Authority / Ministry.
21-Heavy Vehicle Operator
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Look after general safety and housekeeping.
- The employee shall preserve with utmost care the good working condition of all company property within and outside of his area.
- Report any incident happened during each shift.
- Feeding sufficient quantity of materials each shift.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, reporting any abnormality or requirement for maintenance repair.

Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Executing the maintenance activities (preventive and corrective maintenance) of all the hydraulic systems & pneumatic systems with assistance from the mechanical fitter, as per daily checklists and SAP preventive maintenance plan.
- Inspection of responsible/allocated area system, reporting any major abnormality to the higher level and recording it in the logbook and checklists of SAP
- Execution of corrective action to eliminate the identified abnormalities with assistance from, Mechanical Fitter
- Thorough understanding of all the hydraulic systems & pneumatic systems and their circuits, and system components so that maintenance time can be reduced by solving the problems quickly to ensure the maximum equipment availability
- Implementing the instruction from the management
- Coordinating with other departments and working as a team
- Carrying out daily hydraulic oils of various systems, making the spares list, proper maintenance of systems, Equipment/ facilities/ carrying out repair works, and keeping spares ready.
- Studying the hydraulic & pneumatic systems circuit diagrams/ drawings, selecting proper tools for special/critical jobs, safekeeping, and working effectively to reduce maintenance costs.
- Responsible to have proper housekeeping and cleaning of equipment, tools, and work areas. Cleaning of equipment areas after any maintenance job

23-Lead LRF Operator
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Carry-out pre-operation inspection / check list, equipment trials and
- any abnormalities noticed to be reporting to immediate superior.
- Preparation and readiness of LF, equipment’s and auxiliary units for
- operation, including process parameter loading.
- Performing all the activities related to heat process: ladle receiving,
- purging activity, heating, alloy additions, trimming, slag control,
- sampling / temp activity and heat lifting for caster as per the
- process flow chart / process standard.
- He must ensure for 100% compliances for lifting chemistry, lifting temperature and super heat. Any deviation must be brought in to his immediate superior immediately. SMP-LRF-W-02
- Coordinating with Refractory SIC for ladle rotation plan & ladle bay
24-Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Closely supervising, executing and controlling the maintenance activities (preventive and corrective maintenance) with assistance from Hydraulic & Pneumatic Specialist, Mechanical Technician, and Welder as per PM work orders from SAP
- Inspection of responsible / allocated area equipment, reporting any major abnormality to the higher level and recording it in the logbook and check lists of SAP
- Execution of corrective action to eliminate the identified abnormalities with assistance from Hydraulic & Pneumatic Specialist, Mechanical Technician, Welder
