- UNOPS is seeking the support of a Programme Management – Senior Assistant to advance the Global Programme on Nature for Development’s work to provide customized AI-driven insights at a national and global level to increase policy alignment with the global goals and targets of the Global Biodiversity Framework and other multilateral environment agreement.
- This assignment will focus on data management, analysis, compliance, coding, and data communications for the Global Biodiversity Framework Early Action Support (GBF-EAS) Project.
- Data Management, Analysis, and Compliance with UNDP Data Standards
- Assist data gathering and cleaning processes, in addition to assisting with the analysis for projects supporting countries to conduct policy analysis and enhance alignment of national policy to the Global Biodiversity Framework and related conventions.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining an inventory of current policy data that is relevant for the GBF-EAS Project data analysis needs.
- Support the supervisor in organizing and arranging the gathering, processing, and uploading of datasets.
- Assist in global analysis of policy coherence across biodiversity, climate change and sustainable development policy.
- Assist in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially large language models and generative AI, for biodiversity, climate change and sustainable development policy analysis strategies and capacity building.
- Assist in structuring a tool to assess the national targets changes/improvements of new target submissions to the Convention on Biological Diversity
- Assist the model validation processes including development of validation processes, coordination with colleagues to review models, and manual review of results.
- Assist in record management of developments in methodology and steps taken to ensure compliance with regulations and alignment with country and partner feedback.
- Esta posición hace parte del equipo especialista de la H-PIU y reporta a la Jefe de la Unidad de Inteligencia de Adquisiciones en Salud o el Líder de Equipo de Inteligencia de Adquisiciones. El/la Especialista en Inteligencia de Adquisiciones de Salud, será responsable de generar insumos relevantes para la gestión de proyectos de adquisiciones de medicamentos y tecnologías médicas, principalmente contribuyendo en las siguientes actividades:
- 1- Análisis de Mercado y Datos del Mercado Farmacéutico y Tecnologías Médicas: cuyo objetivo es aplicar técnicas analíticas para recolectar y analizar datos del mercado farmacéutico, de tecnologías médicas y otros relacionados a adquisiciones de salud, optimizando la toma de decisiones, mitigando riesgos y contribuyendo al desarrollo de estrategias y procedimientos de adquisiciones efectivos.
- 2- Análisis de Debida Diligencia y Riesgos de Adquisiciones del Sector Salud: cuyo objetivo es utilizar técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas para analizar información de proveedores, desarrollar informes de debida diligencia y evaluación de riesgos, coordinar actividades relacionadas con la debida diligencia en proyectos de adquisiciones de salud, y contribuir al desarrollo de estrategias de adquisiciones para garantizar la integridad y eficiencia en los procesos de adquisición.
- 3- Supervisión de personal técnico: según sea requerido es responsable de liderar equipos técnicos en su área de responsabilidad, lo que implica la preparación de planes de trabajo, asignación de tareas, monitoreo de la ejecución y redacción de informes, así como la gestión efectiva del desempeño del personal supervisado en función de resultados y comportamientos alineados con los valores de Naciones Unidas.
- 4- Otras actividades relevantes: contribuirá desde su área de especialidad en otras actividades relevantes que tengan impacto en la generación de resultados de la H-PIU .

- Co-design the UNOPS Culture & Engagement Survey and other continuous listening tools and practices to support UNOPS’ strategic goals and ongoing culture transformation.
- Support the Head of Organization Culture & Engagement to deliver executive consulting sessions on people engagement results and action planning sessions.
- Conduct assessments on emerging issues and opportunities related to people engagement and organization culture at UNOPS.
- Support organizational leaders at global and regional/ country levels to develop and deliver key messages related to engagement and culture.
- Collaborate with HR leads and focal points at global, regional and country levels to co-create and implement relevant Culture and Engagement approaches and methodologies.
- Work with the People and Culture leadership team to ensure that all people engagement activities and initiatives are aligned to functional and organizational strategies.
- Support change management and culture transformation efforts by guiding and leading culture ambassadors across different regions. Develop and facilitate training on people engagement and organization culture at global, regional and country levels.
- Collaborate with the Communications Group (CG) on communication and other relevant campaigns aimed at fostering engagement and ownership around the organization’s core values.
- Dependendo das credenciais acadêmicas, é necessário ter de 0 a 2 anos de experiência em tributação e/ou auditoria.

- Minimum seven (7) years experience in bioengineering is essential.
- A background in road engineering or slope stabilization is desired.
- Ability to use contemporary computer applications is required including. Mastery of CAD software is required.
