- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or relevant field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management.
- Proficient in English and Arabic.
- Receive the approved requisition requests and detail the need for services or goods, ensure sufficient details are provided, Delegation of Authority (DOA) is followed before forwarding the requests to Unit Head – Procurement for review and approval.
- Assess and review the collated procurement needs and identify potential economies of scale, long term agreements, cost saving opportunities etc.
- Analyze requested acquisition, forecast an informed estimate by obtaining quotes from vendors and provider and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Handle complete procurement cycle for low to non-critical goods and services under the supervision of the Unit Head – Procurement to ensure the procurement needs are met in a swift manner.
- Compose and issue an official request for proposal for essential and critical goods and services under the supervision of the Unit Head – Procurement.
- Receive purchase orders and record transactions in the material tracking system to confirm receipt; Conduct a three-way matching process by comparing purchase orders (POs), invoices, and goods receipts to ensure accuracy and accountability in the payment process.
- Perform a quality, quantity, and specification checks; identify any discrepancies to the Unit Head – Procurement for corrective actions.
