The American University of Kuwait (AUK) is an independent, private, equal opportunity, and coeducational liberal arts institution of higher education. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) has awarded AUK full accreditation for the College of Business and Economics.
The College of Arts & Sciences is accredited by the American Academy for Liberal Education (AALE).

Adjuncts – College of Business and Economics
About the Job:
The College of Business and Economics is seeking applicants for multiple full-time and part-time faculty openings at the assistant, associate, and full professor ranks. While applicants must possess or soon expect to receive a Ph.D. in a business-related major, candidates with a master’s degree and professional work experience will also be considered for an instructor’s position.
Applicants should ideally have experience teaching undergraduate courses within a liberal arts education setting. The positions require energetic and enthusiastic individuals who will help the College achieve its mission and vision by actively engaging students in holistic development. Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate effective use of simulations, along with a history of high-quality teaching outcomes in terms of course delivery, student learning, grading, and student engagement.
These positions are available only to local residents in Kuwait.
Qualifications:
- Must possess or soon expect to receive a Ph.D. in a business-related major.
- Candidates with a master’s degree and professional work experience will also be considered for an instructor’s position.
- Experience teaching undergraduate courses within a liberal arts education setting is highly preferred.
وظائف أعضاء هيئة التدريس المؤقتين – كلية الأعمال والاقتصاد
حول الوظيفة:
تسعى كلية الأعمال والاقتصاد إلى استقطاب مرشحين لشغل عدة وظائف بدوام كامل وجزئي في رتب أستاذ مساعد، وأستاذ مشارك، وأستاذ كامل. يجب أن يكون المتقدمون حاصلين على درجة الدكتوراه أو من المتوقع حصولهم عليها قريباً في تخصصات ذات صلة بإدارة الأعمال، كما سيتم النظر في المتقدمين الحاصلين على درجة الماجستير ولديهم خبرة مهنية لشغل منصب مدرّس.
يفضل أن يكون المتقدمون ذوو خبرة في تدريس مقررات دراسات البكالوريوس ضمن سياق التعليم الفني أو الليبرالي. تتطلب الوظائف أفراداً حيويين وحماسيين سيساهمون في تحقيق رسالة ورؤية الكلية من خلال مشاركة فعالة مع الطلاب لتطويرهم بشكل شامل. ستكون الأولوية للمتقدمين الذين يمكنهم إثبات استخدام فعال لمحاكاة التدريس ولديهم سجل في تحقيق نتائج تدريس عالية الجودة فيما يتعلق بإيصال المقررات، وتحقيق تعلم الطلاب، والانضباط في التصحيح، وتفاعل الطلاب.
تتوفر هذه الوظائف فقط للمقيمين المحليين في الكويت.
المؤهلات:
- يجب أن يكون المتقدم حاصلاً على درجة الدكتوراه أو من المتوقع حصوله عليها قريباً في تخصص متعلق بالأعمال.
- سيتم النظر في المتقدمين الحاصلين على درجة الماجستير ولديهم خبرة مهنية لشغل منصب مدرّس.
- يفضل وجود خبرة في تدريس مقررات دراسات البكالوريوس ضمن بيئة تعليمية ليبرالية.
