- SANAM is regional alternative investment firm established in 1982 and listed in Boursa Kuwait in 2004 with a current paid-up and issued capital of KWD 10.5 million.
- The firm has adopted a transformational plan in 2022 towards responsible investing and is currently managing three platforms in multiple asset classes, mainly real estate, private equity and venture capital. To further its growth strategy, SANAM is seeking to hire a Director of Communications and Sustainability to join its team .
- · Developing a cohesive communications strategy
- · Projecting a positive company image to the public
- · Developing and executing ESG strategies.
- · The Communications Director’s responsibilities include managing public perception of a company, which incorporates developing marketing and communication strategies as well as understanding the importance of timing in setting messages.
- · Supporting with the development and delivery of the firm’s internal sustainability strategy
- · Ongoing engagement and monitoring of firm’s signatory commitments, including the PRI
- · Working across company platforms to inform and engage both internal and external stakeholders on ESG performance, which includes participation in the firm’s green investment committee.
- · Engaging with platform companies to promote best practices in sustainability, providing guidance and support to enhance their ESG performance.
- · Establish and drive a multi-channel communications strategy
- · Develop sustainability strategies to improve the company’s environmental and social performance.
- · Prepare and manage all communications material Manage media relations
- · Develop a brand voice and maintain brand integrity across all platforms
- · Develop contacts with media members, influencers and community leaders
- · Assist in the creation of digital, video, audio and print content
- · Proven work experience as a Communications Director or similar role
- · Experience in stakeholder/community engagement
- · Experience in Kuwait and/or GCC
- · Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies
- · Understand principles of copywriting, graphic design, layout and publishing
- · Familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing
- · Impeccable copywriting and copy editing abilities
- · Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related discipline is preferred.
