Responsibilities
- Tool Repair and maintenance referenced to the latest released manuals.
- Work order issuance and completion overtrack a tool.
- Identify the required parts for different service levels with different tool configurations.
- Tool preparation for field with all related protocols and Certificates completion.
- Tool loading/unloading.
- Negotiate the tool issues and findings with engineering when tools come back from job or serviced in shop and create , update , follow up a Jira ticket .
- Online troubleshooting
- Reimaging PC’c, Installing special standalone programs and software.
- Updating the firmware of electronic drilling recorders.
- Tools Field training , installation, and commissioning .
- Keep a track of Inventory to smoothly manage the upcoming jobs.
- Working closely with other NOV personnel both within and outside the department, to maximize the delivery values to the customers.

2-Entry Level Drilling Solution Engineer: Kuwait (Kuwaitization)
Responsibilities
- All tasks are carried out in accordance with Engineering group policies and quality procedures under the leadership of the Engineering Manager.
- Contribute to sales and marketing efforts to ensure products offered are in line with engineering group and company strategies
- Monitor bit performance. Identify drilling trends and implement optimization practices.
- Establish basic knowledge of the incident investigation process relative to RH bits [ITraX submission, ITraX Level-1 & Level-2 investigations]
- Be able to accurately describe dull conditions vs. root causes for PDC /RC Drill bit. Communicate failure modes leading up to observed dull conditions
- Complete Personal Training steps for product knowledge and safety
- Provide technical support both internally and externally to customers.
- Provide Bit Run assistance as required
- Assist field testing and new technology commercialization
- Chair client meetings and monitor individual’s performance to ensure customer care is at the foremost position
- Remain aware and involved in the latest developments within the industry and the greater engineering world to identify any potential concepts that could be incorporated into new designs
- Travel as and when required in order to support the business
- Develop accurate and complete documentation of data and project results in a timely manner.
- Provide data analysis & benchmarking
- Interact with personnel in other departments and disciplines.

3- Service Technician – Oil & Gas (Assembly/Disassembly, Maintenance, Testing): Kuwait
Responsibilities
- Safely dismantle, clean, inspect, assemble, repair, test and paint downhole tools per NOV standards of quality and safety.
- Ensure that all serviced tools are in acceptable working order and maintained/serviced per NOV procedures.
- Complete all necessary documentation and data entry during service process.
- Operate crane and forklift to load/unload parts/materials.
- Perform equipment inspections as per required procedures.
- Maintain 5S / housekeeping of work area.
- Communicate to Management any issues with equipment, tools, inspections, and HSE concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Education/Skill-set Required
- Engineering degree in a related field is preferable.
- 2 years’ experience in a related role, considered an asset.
- Strong work ethic with multi-tasking abilities.
- Mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude with the desire to be a team-player.
- Ability to work in a shop environment and conduct physical activities such as lifting, crouching, reaching, and standing for periods of time.
