- Experience in presenting technical courses on auditing standards, as well as International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Maintain a working knowledge of and research findings regarding accounting literature, trends, and technical issues relevant to the client’s industry
- Oversee engagement management, including managing the budget, resourcing strategy, billing and collections, and progress against the plan, timeline, and milestones
- You’ll actively establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships and confirm that work delivered to clients is of a high quality
- Set the culture for the engagement team and mentor members in their career development
- Build and manage client relationships and accounts, including driving the client experience on engagements
- Understand and utilize KPMG’s Audit Methodology and the Risk Management policies and procedures
- Mentoring and coaching of middle management team and Providing feedback to employees on their performance against the objectives you set for them.
- Independently execute IT Internal Audits, IT Security Audits, Cybersecurity Audits, SWIFT CSF Assessments, etc.
- Able to effectively define scope of work and internal audit procedures.
- Constantly reviews work products performed by junior team members to ensure quality.
- Effectively draft reports of findings, implication and recommendations.
- Assess and consider how Technology contributes to organizational objectives.
- Managing client relationships and expectations.
- Finalize reports and present findings and recommendations to Senior Management / Board.
Required Skillset:
- Bachelors Degree
- Desirable to have CISA & CISSP certification. Other certifications such as CISM, CEH, ISO 27001 & ISO 23301 or similar certifications, will be valued.
- Between 4-5 years of relevant consulting / auditing experience.
- Good Understanding of IT standards such as ISO 27001, SWIFT CSF, PCI DSS, etc.
- Excellent MS PowerPoint skills.
- At least 10 years within a blue-chip consulting firm with preferably 5 years of experience in Oil &Gas consulting.
- Strong academic record
- Accredited Project Management Qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile etc.)
- Strong knowledge in:
- Reviewing and optimizing target operating models, with a focus on technology, organizational structure, talent, and governance.
- Stage-gate processes and project management methodologies.
- Collaboration with leadership and driving strategic change initiatives.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
- Team player with the ability to resolve problems and meet deadlines.
- A proven ability to handle pressure and manage conflicting demands.
- Well organized and client focused.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to receive and work on constructive feedback.
- Previous experience in working with multicultural teams.
- Good interpersonal skills and the willingness to accept challenges and responsibility.

- Sound communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Perform internal audits as well as other risk advisory engagements for business and support functions.
- Effectively manage a portfolio of clients / engagements and demonstrate ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Independently develop and execute comprehensive audit programs in accordance with KPMG’s Internal Audit Methodology aligned with the IIA Standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients’ middle management.
- Perform risk assessments by gaining an understanding of, and documenting the respective business processes, identifying risks and controls inherent in those processes, evaluating them and identifying control deficiencies / opportunities for improvement; evaluates control effectiveness through transaction testing; and performs substantive audit procedures; and identify weaknesses in governance, risk management and controls processes.
- Assign members of staff to engagement teams, interprets work performed and is responsible for the overall performance of all engagements assigned to the team.
- Supervises, assigns tasks, and reviews the work performed by Staff to ensure quality, and provide developmental feedback on the work performed by others.
- Effectively coach, mentor and develop staff in areas of expertise.
