  • Evaluate and select relevant software for running payroll, incorporating Deel product technology requirements
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll in your region, as well as in other trained countries
  • Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports, ensuring compliance with local tax authorities
  • Own all critical local payroll and HR processes, including setting up involuntary deductions, supporting onboardings and offboardings of employees on record in your region
  • Schedule payroll expenses collections and reconcile collections to expenses
  • Assess and improve rapid growth processes and procedures, ensuring compliance
  • Stay informed of relevant local regulatory and policies changes, communicating and establishing key changes across teams
  • Work cross-functionally to provide expertise on local payroll and HR matters in your region
  • Answer complex payroll and HR related questions from employees and clients in your region
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • 4+ years of payroll and HR experience with experience in relevant country
  • Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HR
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks while meeting deadlines timely and accurately
  • Strong verbal and written skills to connect with clients and align with various stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills, explaining complex issues at an understandable level
  • Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong proficiency in English
  • Experience managing technology and external payroll providers is an advantage
  • Experience with implementation of new payrolls on an industry-recognised payroll solution is preferred
  • Experience in multiple country jurisdictions is an advantage
  • Experience with multiple payroll technologies is an advantage
  •  Manage, develop, and hire for a rapidly growing team of talented sales development representatives
  •  Drive a high performance, high accountability culture to achieve and exceed sales development goals
  •  Track sales team metrics and report data to senior leadership on a regular basis
  •  Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity

  • Tackle highly impactful business problems and priorities by designing and implementing smart solutions, always optimizing for return on investment
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our customer’s experience at core by putting yourself into the shoes of our customer, collaborating with stakeholders and driving impact quickly and successfully 
  • Work closely with management and ops team members, leadership, product, systems and more to develop a short and longterm strategy and roadmap for your area of responsibility
  • Lead a multi-country operations’ team, maintain direct responsibility over the output and performance, and oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of the rapidly scaling team
  • 5+ years experience managing an operations team in fast paced environments at a successful company (start-up environment and/or at a global company is a plus)
  • You have experience leading and scaling teams
  • You are KPI driven
  • You have experience building great processes and products
  • You are problem-focused, solutions-oriented, and have extreme attention to detail
  • You have lots of energy and practice first principles thinking
  • You have strong analytical skills turning data into insights (SQL skills are a plus) and actions

  • 6+ years of direct and relevant HR experience, preferably in a People Partner or HRBP role supporting product or engineering teams, preferably in a Saas company.
  • Strong appreciation for and experience in building trusted advisor relationships within the business with managers and leaders at all levels
  • Excitement for and deep experience in change management, internal communication strategies, and a high comfort level in ever-changing environments.
  • Ability to effectively balance high-level strategic planning and delivery with a gritty, get-things-done mentality, doing the work that needs to be done at any level to build the foundation for scale.
  • Deep understanding and empathy for the global diversity of a fully remote and distributed workforce with a philosophy of treating people as humans, doing the right things, and meeting people where they are independent of where they sit in the world, race, gender, etc.
  • Passion for storytelling with data and analytics and the ability to decipher raw data directly and translate it into actionable insights with a strategic plan.
  • Comfort with, and passion for, advocating for others even when it’s difficult or unpopular to do so from a business and individual perspective.

  • Experience working in the business to understand business strategy and objectives and then deliver information back to the core People team and other stakeholders is a critical requirement.
  • Comfort with working across multiple time zones with team members based around the globe.
  • Love for collaboration and partnership with client groups, immediate HRBP team, and people ops organization.
  • Willingness and excitement to build processes and policies from scratch, execute the business, and manage change across your teams and company.
  • Able to work in an ever-changing environment and adapt and flex to new working environments.
  • M&A experience for offering advice and support to managers and team members during acquisitions is desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of EU law/regulations experience desirable.
  • Can travel to meet client groups and leadership at various company events, offsites, kickoffs, meetings, etc.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, at least 5 years.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience in working with or administering cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Experience with data modeling and designing efficient database schemas.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
  • Knowledge of dbt (data build tool) and Fivetran is highly desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience setting up PII anonymisation.
