- Responsible for electrical infrastructure of Unit facilities ensuring power to mission critical facilities maintained to include developing repair and renovation of electrical projects.
- Provide technical assistance and support in electrical maintenance, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and hands-on repairs.
- Installs and maintains low-voltage (480/277, 600 volts) and below (50/60 HZ) single and multi-phase power wiring.
- Installs feeder and branch circuits including conduit, service wire, fuse and breaker panels, switches, outlets, junction and outlet boxes, lighting fixtures, splices, connectors, and ground wiring for red and black installations.
- Ensures that the material used, and workmanship meets the requirements of the applicable technical and safety standards.
- Provide detailed reports on equipment’s failures maintenance requirements and lifecycle replacements.
- Respond to service calls and preventive maintenance inspections orally or in writing through computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) regarding malfunctioning/inoperable equipment.
- Use US Army quality assurance procedures to ensure that the material used, and workmanship meet the requirements of the applicable DoD and military specifications, criteria, procedures, and technical/safety standards.
- Provide electrical design input to engineering installation plans and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
- Provide 24-hour 7-day quick reaction technical support to mission critical equipment.
- Performs power quality measurements on the commercial and technical power of the facility and plans actions for correction of any deficiencies.
- Supports US Army systems on site whenever and wherever deployed. Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.
- College, Vocational School, or High School diploma or equivalent and a combination of 10 years’ education and.
- Experience leading to licensure as a Master Electrician, or equivalent licensure or certification at a State level; or 12 years’ experience in an equivalent Military Electrician training/certification.
- Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50lbs.
- Knowledge of Safe Work practices especially regarding energized work, working at heights and confined spaces per OSHA regulations.
- Subject matter expertise level familiarity with provisions and applications of the National Electric Code and ability to select and install domestic and foreign materials and devices under the NEC.
- Experience in the management of an operational military unit/activity or civilian equivalent is required.
- Command of fluent English, including the ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation, schematics, and diagrams written under the ANSI standards.
- Ability to liaise with Directorate of Public Works and BASOPS to coordinate maintenance and repairs preformed to standard.
- US Citizen with TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Analyzes various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs.
- Conducts complex inventory, distribution and network studies, monitor inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
- Collects, processes, and maintains data for analysis. Develops enterprise and/or program-level supply chain reports and metrics in areas such as transportation costs, parts procurement, back orders, and delivery processes for senior management.
- Identifies, evaluates and develops procedures that are cost effective and meet business objectives. Recommends improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
- Monitors the external environment and internal trends to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) in the supply chain.
- Provides detailed analysis of end to end performance. Documents, tracks and reports the flow of materials and equipment between requestor, approver, buyer, vendor, freight forwarder, receiving HUB and receiving site to ensure items are being delivered from the vendor, properly received at the freight forwarder, receipts and invoices match and payments are authorized in a timely manner.
- Monitors inventory and analyzes requirements to assist in the development of strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
- Provides analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and proposals.
- Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.
- Point of contact for order status to requestors, and supply-chain related queries to procurement and freight forwarders.
- Interacts with customers to understand their distribution network.
- May participate in inter-departmental task forces charged with improving supply chain performance.
- Develops new and refines existing internal analysis tools.
- Provides leadership and guidance to lower level analysts as needed.
- Knowledge in shipping, receiving, storing, issuing stock control measures and accounting procedures.
- Establish and maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports.
- Review and verify quantities received against bills of contracts, purchase requests and shipping documents.
- Unload, unpack, count, segregate, palletize and store incoming supplies and equipment
- Simplify and standardize the collection and use of maintenance data.
- Raise the quality and accuracy of performance, cost and parts data through improved maintenance management.
- Manage the deployment and redeployment of personnel and equipment.
- Associate’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university/college with five (5) years of experience in military logistics; or
- Civilian equivalent training in logistics and eight (8) years of experience
- Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) experience.
- Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) experience.
- Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize and execute against multiple priorities.
- Advanced knowledge of databases and spreadsheets; excellent data entry skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Fluent in the English language including the ability to read, write, and comprehend relevant logistics documentation.
- Advanced level experience and skills operating MS-Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Expertise with basic military logistics, supply and maintenance shop operations.
- US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance is required. Some positions will require a CI Poly, so candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain this clearance level.

- Works to determine who should have classification authority and reviews plans for document and access controls, transmission of sensitive information and materials, and related information controls and safeguards.
- Conducts surveys of industrial or other private facilities to determine the organization’s eligibility to work with and store classified and sensitive information.
- Orients contractors to the security program and assists in initiating the measures necessary to bring a facility up to established standards.
- Develops security plans including, but not limited to, access to grounds by employees, vendors, Government personnel, and others; badge and pass systems; and clearance records and controls.
- Works to resolves issues with industry officials involving security plans and makes adjustments based on costs, alternative methods available, other security programs in place, and similar considerations.
- May conduct training programs to make facility personnel aware of security matters and procedures and to alert them to dangers of espionage and sabotage.

- Associates Degree OR four years DoD experience with strong job related experience and special skills PLUS
- At least four years of experience in compartmented programs in DoD/IC PLUS

- Solid and varied experience in planning/accrediting facilities IAW DCID 1/12 standard
- Thorough familiarity with all security clearance processes
- Working knowledge of AR 25-50
