- Deputy Manager, Hosting and Data Security monitors deploy and maintain security infrastructure.
- Implements security systems, such as firewalls, data protection controls and encryption, provide cost effective security solutions and compliance to IT Group policies.
- 1. Review the security measure designs based on business needs and industry best practices.
- 2. Maintain and administrate application security tools.
- 3. Monitor the network security and switches security configuration/s.
- 4. Monitor the Wireless and Local Area Network (WAN & LAN) and security.
- 5. Review the cyber security solutions to manage security project as well as to develop solution proposals and project documentation.
- 6. Manage the company firewall including Web application firewall.
- 7. Monitor and ensure that all servers and network devices are up to date upon patch release.
- 8. Coordinate with IT Management on IT Governance, Risk and Compliance units to adhere to policies and apply recommended security controls.
- 9. Review the recommendations on new security measures to strengthen existing security systems.
- 10. Coordinate with various stakeholders to identify information asset owners to classify data and systems as part of a control framework implementation.
- 11. Monitor all threats detected by security solutions and apply corrective actions.
- 12. Review the Security and Vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation process.
- 13. Monitor the Data backups and restoration.
- 14. Conduct the information security and risk management awareness training programs for all employees, contractors and approved system users.
- 15. Oversee all security incidents, audits and events to protect corporate IT assets, including intellectual property, regulated data and the company’s reputation.
- 16. Monitor the external threat environment for emerging threats and advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate courses of action.
- 17. Recommend and coordinate the implementation of technical controls to support and enforce defined security policies.
- 18. Develop and implement controls and configurations aligned with security policies and legal, regulatory and audit requirements.
- 19. Check and assess all end-user access on a periodic basis and identify violations for correction to avoid data leakage and security.
- Senior Internal Auditor conducts review of assigned organizational and functional activities in accordance with professional standards, evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of management controls, report audit findings and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Job Responsibilities
- Prepare documentation for the new audit assignments by examining previous audit reports, relevant data, surveying functions in the assign areas to identify risk areas and to determine nature of operations and adequacy of system of control
- Evaluate the effectiveness and completeness of controls through basic audit programs.
- Discuss audit findings with the audit supervisor and seek supporting evidentiary matter to back up audit findings.
- Make preliminary recommendations to counter flaws in the control system.
- Carry out basic audit programs as assigned.
- Prepare written reports on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system if requested.
- Evaluate adequacy of the corrective action to improve deficient conditions.
- Participate in special audit assignments.
- Educational Qualification and Experience: Bachelor degree in Commerce/ Accounting with 3 years of experience or Diploma in Finance/Accounts/Audit with 5 years of experience
- Linguistic Abilities: English is a must
- Certification and Licensure: Kuwait Driving License is a must
