- Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Senior HR and Administrative Officer will manage the day-to-day operations.
- She or he will oversee the human resources policies, SOPs, and program administration. She/he will be responsible for Human Resource Information Systems (HRMS), employee relations, and compensation & benefits administration.
- The role holder will coordinate HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and high standards of goal attainment.
- The position is based in our Head Office in the Free Trade Zone, Kuwait.
- – Execute HR planning and strategy discussions, aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives.
- – Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talents.
- – Oversee significant HR projects, transformations, and change management initiatives.
Advanced HR Administration:
- – Ensure rigorous adherence to labor laws and corporate policies through the development and oversight of compliant HR practices.
- – Manage complex employee relations cases, providing expert advice and ensuring legal compliance.
- – Direct the administration of employee benefits programs and negotiations with vendors and service providers.
- – Coach and mentor HR staff to foster professional growth and operational excellence.
- – Conduct the performance management process, including administrating the performance appraisal methods that reflect the organization’s values and objectives.
- – Design and facilitate targeted training programs to enhance employee skills and retention.
Payroll Oversight:
- – Supervise the payroll function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- – Evaluate and refine payroll procedures and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Compliance and Ethical Governance:
- – Monitor changes in employment legislation, updating internal policies in line with new laws and best practices.
- – Conduct audits of HR activities to ensure compliance and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Office Administration:
- – Streamline office operations and procedures to improve efficiency.
- – Manage contracts and negotiations with office vendors, service providers, and office leases.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least ten years of experience in an HR leadership role
- Fluent in English.
- Proven track record in managing comprehensive HR functions and leading a team.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the GCC (Kuwait and KSA).
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
- Commitment to ethical management, avoiding “cover-your-ass” tactics, and promoting transparency and accountability.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- High proficiency in Reviewing and auditing payroll, benefits, and end-of-service calculations.
- Experience in preparing and conducting job interviews based on job description requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international HR practices, employment standards, and compliance regulations.
- Min has five years of experience conducting job interviews.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Proficiency in Pinnacle HR management software.
- Fluent in Arabic.
- Service and helping mentality.
- Can create Microsoft Forms templates.
- The ability to create online tests.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD).
- Experience with Zoho People HR software.
- Experience with AI Chatbots like Chat GPT.
- Previous experience with SOPs.
- Experience with HR test systems like Hire Success and analytics tools.
- Intelligent, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.
- Experience within the construction industry or a similar sector.
