Wood Factory Supervisor

We are looking for a dedicated Wood Factory Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our wood factory. In this role, you will lead a team of production workers, ensure efficient wood processing, maintain quality standards, and promote a safe working environment. You will also coordinate with other departments, manage inventory, and implement production schedules to meet customer demands.

Position: Wood Factory Supervisor

Location: Kuwait

Type: Full-time

Pay: KD300.000 – KD500.000 per month

1. Supervise Production Operations:

   • Monitor and coordinate production activities to ensure timely completion of orders.
   • Assign tasks to workers and ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
   • Organize and maintain workflow within the wood factory, optimizing efficiency.

2. Quality Control and Assurance:

   • Inspect wood products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
   • Implement quality control measures to identify and resolve any issues related to product quality.
   • Conduct regular assessments to monitor and improve product quality.

3. Team Leadership and Development:

   • Provide guidance, training, and support to production workers to enhance their skills and performance.
   • Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and motivate employees to achieve production targets.
   • Address any performance or disciplinary issues in a timely and appropriate manner.

4. Safety and Compliance:

   • Enforce and promote safe working practices, following all relevant health and safety regulations.
   • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure workers are trained in proper equipment usage and safety protocols.
   • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing preventive measures to avoid reoccurrence.

5. Inventory Management:

   • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
   • Coordinate with procurement and logistics departments to ensure timely availability of required materials.
   • Implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize resources.

6. Communication and Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, quality control, and maintenance to streamline operations.
   • Communicate effectively with management, providing updates on production progress, challenges, and recommendations.
   • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

   • تقديم التوجيه والتدريب والدعم للعمال الإنتاجيين لتعزيز مهاراتهم وأدائهم.
   • تعزيز بيئة عمل إيجابية، وتشجيع العمل الجماعي، وتحفيز الموظفين لتحقيق أهداف الإنتاج.
   • معالجة أي مشكلات أداء أو انضباط في الوقت المناسب وبطريقة مناسبة.

4. السلامة والامتثال:

   • فرض وتعزيز ممارسات العمل الآمنة، مع الالتزام بجميع اللوائح الصحية والسلامة ذات الصلة.
   • إجراء عمليات تفتيش سلامة دورية وضمان تدريب العمال على الاستخدام الصحيح للمعدات وبروتوكولات السلامة.
   • التحقيق في أي حوادث أو وقائع والإبلاغ عنها، وتنفيذ تدابير وقائية لتجنب تكرارها.

5. إدارة المخزون:

   • مراقبة مستويات المخزون من المواد الخام والمنتجات النهائية.
   • التنسيق مع أقسام الشراء واللوجستيات لضمان التوافر الفوري للمواد المطلوبة.
   • تنفيذ تدابير فعالة للتحكم في المخزون لتقليل الفاقد وتحسين الموارد.

6. التواصل والتعاون:

   • التعاون مع أقسام أخرى مثل الشراء ومراقبة الجودة والصيانة لتبسيط العمليات.
   • التواصل بشكل فعال مع الإدارة، وتقديم تحديثات حول تقدم الإنتاج والتحديات والتوصيات.
   • تحديد مجالات التحسين في العمليات وتقديم استراتيجيات لتعزيز الإنتاجية والكفاءة.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in industrial engineering, wood technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a supervisor or manager in a wood manufacturing or similar industry.
• In-depth knowledge of wood processing techniques, machinery, and quality standards.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices pertaining to wood manufacturing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and inventory management systems.
