  • Initiate systems and network troubleshooting and monitoring, and replace defective components as needed
  • Support in the opening, closing and renovation phases of stores
  • Ensures technical equipment is running and being maintained properly
  • Install and configure specified software packages such as operating systems, business applications and other office tools
  • Inspect personal computer equipment, install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drivers on user’s premises
  • Provide the necessary support for the shops POS systems including any issues during the POS daily closing
  • Support and maintain the inventory machines in terms of software and hardware, and ensure proper connectivity with the servers
  • Log all the incidents and requests in the Service Desk system

Description

  • Implement and follow the optimal staff structure according to the stores’ needs and productivity targets by coordinating the distribution of budgeted hours and headcount and ensuring their compliance with applicable local laws and regulations
  • Manage the recruitment process, enhance selection tools and methods, conduct interviews as well as implement inductions and on-boarding processes.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently implemented (employee handbook, standard operation procedures, uniform procedures, working hours, staff lockers and the staff room procedures…)
  • Implement employee relations programs and evaluate their effectiveness (exit interviews, employee surveys, absenteeism and turnover rates…)
  • Implement the disciplinary policy based on the disciplinary action matrix, ensuring the alignment with the local labor law
  • Ensure that workplace health, safety and security comply with local laws, regulations and company’s code of conduct
  • Train, guide and motivate shop managers to develop their teams and manage talent ensuring that employees have the appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to meet current and future business requirements
  • Coach managers on conflict resolutions and handling employee issues to increase productivity and boost employee morale.
  • Follow up on the completion of Performance Development Plans (PDP’s) and Performance Improvement Plans (PIP’s) through various learning activities and manage the performance appraisal cycle

  • Provide customers with exceptional service by meeting their individual requests and expectations to ensure an excellent shopping experience that consistently attracts both present and future shoppers.
  • Follow trends and maintain timeless knowledge of fashion principles to create, share, and develop the team’s fashion expertise.
  • Demonstrate superior store knowledge to be able to understand customers’ concerns and quickly determine solutions with limited supervision.
  • Drive sales by consistently demonstrating remarkable clientele selling skills, focusing on the individual customer and their fashion, as well as their wardrobe needs.
  • Actively greet customers and attend to their needs in the fitting room, while ensuring fitting rooms are always neat and readily available to host customers.
  • Determine customer needs based on personal features, preferences, and wardrobe selections; Provide advice and expertise on different sizes, colors, and styles.

  • Ensure a smooth and efficient receiving process of items/shipments as well as monitor all kind of inventory activities such as cycle counts and stock movements including transfers between shops, transfers to/from warehouse, damaged items, devolution, etc.

  • Prepare staff schedule based on budgeted hours and/ or visitors’ traffic, daily sales targets, events, operational needs (including shipments, stock count, sale, etc.) as well as ensure the effective communication of sales plans and set daily and hourly targets to the Shop/Department team
  • Log/update all commercial and operational information as well as various requests on the provided platforms (Helpdesks, Events, Loss Prevention application, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in retail
  • Knowledge of beauty products especially particular lines of cosmetics
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Greet customers and assist them in their purchase decisions by offering expert advice in compliance with quality and customer service standards
  • Communicate sales plans and targets to the Shop/Department team, monitor performance on an on-going basis and suggest corrective actions to hierarchy when needed
  • Assign routine and non-routine tasks to Sales Associates, Cashiers and Coordinators, in order to ensure that activities are carried out in the most efficient manner
  • Assist in the preparation of the staff schedule in order to ensure that the Shop/Department manpower is effectively matched to the shop’s operational requirements in a cost effective manner
  • Support the Shop/Department Manager in maintaining inventories and placing product orders to ensure effective stock management and availability of products
  • Motivate team members and provide them with the necessary support in terms of training and development in order to optimize sales results
