Job Title: Product Specialist
About the Job
Product Specialist Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research, which may include surveys, desktop research, sending emails, making calls, and attending product launches of rival companies.
- Answer all product-related questions politely and address queries promptly.
- Collaborate and strategize with the business and engineering teams.
- Attend workshops and refresher courses in sales and marketing.
- Plan and assist with new product releases and events.
- Perform product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with the development of business plans.
- Schedule training sessions and attend meetings as required.
- Identify new market opportunities and relay this information to the Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
- Make helpful product recommendations and suggestions to increase revenue.
Product Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Extensive experience in retail, sales, or customer service is advantageous.
- Ability to memorize details like product specifications.
- Articulate and able to perform engaging and inspiring demonstrations.
- Deadline-driven and willing to work after hours.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent telephone etiquette.
- A strong growth mindset.
