• Under broad direction, provides on-site consulting and monitoring of oil well blowout and emergency conditions, firefighting, well-killing and other blow out procedures in emergency drilling situations.
• Ensures that well-site activities are completed in accordance with Company policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Advises on specific servicing problems and recommends use of specialized tools, techniques, and services.
• Assists in repair and maintenance of equipment.

Job Duties And Qualifications

• Under strict supervision, performs maintenance functions such as repairs on down-hole tools, surface equipment and other production equipment in the application for down-hole tools. 
• Assembles and disassemble down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment. 
• Basic computer skills are preferred. Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required. 
• Given the nature of oil field service work, the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary. 

Job Duties And Qualifications

Under general supervision, plans sourcing of goods and services to support manufacturing, field operations or project management. Complies with and executes Category Management strategy in accordance with policies and procedures. 

Creates request for quotations (RFQ) or organizes competitive biddings from various suppliers to obtain best quality, delivery and price for goods and services. Implements agreements for local procurement of goods and services not covered under Category Management. 

Assesses supplier performance and conducts reviews with suppliers. May be responsible for complex operations or large expenditures. May lead in the development of less experienced Procurement Specialists.

 This entails pursuing excellence in all day-to-day activities, identifying technical needs of customers through product knowledge and geographic understanding of challenges, aiding the BD organization in pursuit of work through customer interaction and internal/external workshops, providing technical recommendation to BD for proposal preparation regarding solution upsell, aiding operations and BD in the diagnosis and communication of solutions delivery issues, all utilizing a detailed knowledge base of specific subPSL products, services and solutions.
