Job Responsibilities
- Independently develop and execute audit programs covering various business areas and support functions.
- Able to effectively define scope of work and internal audit procedures.
- Perform risk assessments by gaining an understanding of, and documenting the respective business processes, identifying risks and controls inherent in those processes, evaluating them and identifying control deficiencies / opportunities for improvement; evaluates control effectiveness through transaction testing; and performs substantive audit procedures; and identify weaknesses in governance, risk management and controls processes.
- Constantly reviews work products performed by junior team members to ensure quality.
- Effectively draft internal audit reports of findings, implication and recommendations.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform internal audits as well as other risk advisory engagements for business and support functions.
- Effectively manage a portfolio of clients / engagements and demonstrate ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Independently develop and execute comprehensive audit programs in accordance with KPMG’s Internal Audit Methodology aligned with the IIA Standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients’ middle management.
Experience Expected:
- Professional accounting qualification, such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent
- At least 6-7 years of professional experience in external audit
- Experience in Auditing Telcommunication clients
- Thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques and experience in managing teams
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm
- Experience with the risk-based audit approach
- Understanding of currently applicable and upcoming IFRS and ISA
- Coaching, mentoring, and counseling experience
- Fluent English communication skills and effective presentation skills
- Plan and execute M&A and valuation engagements
- Lead buy-side transactions, assisting clients with target identification and screening
- Lead sell-side transactions supporting clients with preparation of asset for divestment, drafting investor documents and identifying and screening potential buyers
- Oversee capital markets related engagements in accordance with client objectives and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate valuation, due diligence and data room processes
- Advise on deal structures
- Provide commercial and financial inputs on transaction documents
- Support with separation/integration planning
- Performing independent valuation for financial instruments, businesses, tangible and intangible assets, equity and debt securities, for mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, dispute resolution, financial reporting, restructuring, and financial advisory
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Independently execute IT Internal Audits, IT Security Audits, Cybersecurity Audits, SWIFT CSF Assessments, etc.
- Able to effectively define scope of work and internal audit procedures.
- Constantly reviews work products performed by junior team members to ensure quality.
- Effectively draft reports of findings, implication and recommendations.
- Assess and consider how Technology contributes to organizational objectives.
- Managing client relationships and expectations.
- Finalize reports and present findings and recommendations to Senior Management / Board.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental & sustainability studies or other relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English (spoken and written Arabic is an advantage).
- Strong communication and presentation capability.
- Ability to thrive in an international and multi-cultural environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is mandatory, fluency in Arabic would be a strong plus (although not mandatory)
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ specialized (post-MBA/MSc) experience in strategy consulting
- The experience should include significant exposure in a Big-4 financial advisory, a strategy consulting firm, or multinational firms
- Experience in building financial models, performing business and financial analysis, and leading team presentations
- Cross-sectorial experience is an advantage
- Project management skills demonstrated with experiences managing individual and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of the full lifecycle activities of infrastructure asset projects
- Ability to manage business development, including through competitive proposals
