  • Must currently hold an Active DoD Secret Clearance or be able to obtain one prior to deployment. 
  • Must be capable of meeting/maintaining deployment medical and dental requirements 
  • Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 
  • Must have effective communication skills (written/verbal) with exceptional problem resolution abilities. 
  • Must be able to accommodate deployment travel within 2-3 weeks of accepting offer

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Escorts un-cleared personnel into areas and monitors personnel while performing work.
  • Logs in and out all Local National (LN) /Other Country National (OCN) contractors and counts personnel before and after they perform duties; notifies appropriate personnel of how many people and vehicles are being escorted.
  • Monitors LN/OCN work until it is completed for the day and the work zone has been purged by trained Force Protection military personnel and all LNs/OCNs have exited base and/or returned to camps.
  • Ensures LN/OCNs do not bring onto the base any prohibited or contraband (i.e., weapons, drugs, etc.).
  • Ensures all local base escorting policies are followed by LN/OCNs workforce.
  • Consistently deescalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.

  • Senior professional with strong personal drive and credibility with both internal and external stakeholders;
  • A high energy individual with a desire to make a difference and offer suggestions for improvement & recommendations;
  • May serve as a proposal manager on large pursuits, gaining executive approvals where required, through to final contractual negotiations;
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing project-related priorities and deliver high quality, accurate work within required deadlines;
  • Overall responsibility for the successful execution and conclusion of projects executed for KBR Consulting in Kuwait;
  • Participation in cross fertilisation of work between KBR departments and developing a OneKBR approach to execute projects;
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction at project level and resolving any issues;
  • Ensure regional financial targets are met;
  • Liaise with the Consulting Director to ensure the projects are adequately resourced;
  • Review project obligations and ensuring management of change including variation orders;

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous military experience is preferred 
  • Minimum of two (2) years supervising or leading a team of ten or more personnel 
  • Minimum of two (2) years of prior experience working overseas 

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience with KBR in similar position
  • B Eng (Hons) Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • At least 15 years total post graduation experience
  • At least 10 years direct process engineering  post graduation experience in the Oil and Gas industry, offshore and onshore or related petrochemicals industry.
  • At least 5 years experience in as Lead Design Engineer – Process.
  • At least 3 years experience with the software for the automation of the specialty.
  • Excellent computer skills with AutoCAD or Microstation, excellent skills with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, ability to create accurate design drawings from base project information, reporting, estimating and supervision skills
  • Experience with 3D modelling systems such as PDS. PDMS or AutoPlant. 
  • Experience with advanced engineering design and data systems such as SmartPlant P&ID, SmartPlant Foundation, SmartPlant Instrumentation, SmartPlant

  • Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline
  • 15 years of total post graduation experience
  • 10 years mechanical design experience in the Oil & Gas environment
  • 5 years in the stated designation
  • Minimum 2 years experience with KBR in the similar position
  • A minimum of 3 years in automation software for the specialty.

Lead Land Surveyor

  • Make exact measurements and determine property boundaries. 
  • Provide data relevant to the shape, contour, gravitation, location, elevation, or dimension of land or land features on or near the earth’s surface for engineering, mapmaking, mining, land evaluation, construction, and other purposes. 
  • Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas, using theodolites, transits, levels, and satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS). 

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or HND or Diploma in Engineering with minimum 16  years total experience and minimum 6 years experience in similar role in oil and gas major projects
  • Minimum 8 years total post graduation experience
  • Minimum 5 years post graduation experience in major oil and gas projects
  • Min 3 years experience in similar role
  • A proven track record and demonstrable success in the management of HSE in major projects.

  • Conducting research and gathering data on project specifications, such as blueprints, schematics, and other technical documentation.
  • Conducting research and gathering cost data on applied international standards and compare this cost with estimated cost of client’s specific standards
  • Analysing data to determine the costs of standard application, materials, labour, and other factors necessary to complete the project.
  • Developing cost estimates using a variety of methods, such as historical data, industry benchmarks, and industry-specific cost models.
  • Preparing detailed cost reports that outline the costs associated with different aspects of the project, including labour, materials, and equipment.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, client representatives and other stakeholders to ensure that cost estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Reviewing and updating cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle, as necessary.
  • Communicating with clients and other stakeholders to explain cost estimates and address any questions or concerns.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior cost estimators
