About the Job
The Floorman is responsible for operating equipment, installing and maintaining oil rigs, and ensuring that the drilling operations area is clean and safe. This role involves manipulating pipes and loading and unloading cargo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain drilling equipment and oil rigs.
- Install and maintain oil rigs and associated machinery.
- Keep the drilling operations area clean and safe.
- Manipulate and handle pipes and related equipment.
- Load and unload cargo as required.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of drilling operations.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
