Job Description: As the Laundry Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for setting up, managing, and optimizing the laundry operations. You will be responsible for the daily laundry operations and establish high-quality control and efficiency standards for our laundry services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in laundry operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality service.
- Operations Setup: Collaborate with direct line manager to design and implement the complete laundry operation process.
- Daily Supervision: Oversee all laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and quality control. This includes but is not limited to, monitoring pick-up and drop-off services with the logistics team.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise laundry staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
- Quality Control: Establish and maintain stringent quality control processes for all laundry items.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve laundry processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Inventory Management: Using Piece tagging and other inventory management tools, ensure proper handling and tracking of all laundry items.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular operational reports to the Head of Operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in laundry operations management.
- Strong understanding of laundry processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- A brief understanding of Logistics and e-commerce operations is an added advantage.
