- Develop and implement detailed project plans that outline scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Lead the execution of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they align with all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with key stakeholders, including IT leadership, business units, and external vendors, to ensure project alignment and support.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management effectively.
Resource and Budget Management
- Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, hardware, software, and financial budgets, to meet project objectives.
- Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
Risk and Issue Management
- Identify potential project risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies.
- Proactively manage and resolve project issues to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and quality delivery of products and services.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure all project deliverables meet required standards and performance criteria as contracted .
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Track project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Change Management
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using formal change management processes and tools.
- Ensure effective communication and documentation of changes and their impacts.
Post-Implementation Support
- Oversee the transition of completed projects to operational teams, ensuring adequate support for smooth handover.
- Address lessons learned .
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (MS Project, JIRA , VSTS..).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, with a focus on achieving results.
