We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. In this role, you will handle various operational DBA duties, from installation and upgrades to performance tuning and disaster recovery planning. Responsibilities
- Perform operational DBA tasks, including installation, database upgrades, patching, and environment cloning.
- Manage backup/recovery, capacity planning, performance tuning, and site failover procedures.
- Design, architect, and build SQL Server & Oracle platforms, from gathering business requirements to planning and deploying test and production systems.
- Interface with application development teams to resolve database system issues.
- Support the continuous improvement of systems by optimizing processes for existing and new database services.
- Set up and maintain Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and encryption protocols.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in database engineering and support for enterprise-level systems.
- Extensive knowledge of SQL Server and Azure SQL services.
- Proficiency with Oracle database technology on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Good understanding of Oracle backup and recovery tools like RMAN and Data Pump.
- Strong knowledge of High Availability technologies (e.g., SQL Failover Clusters & Availability Groups).
- Hands-on experience with Windows Clustering, SaaS, web development, DevOps, and SQL Server database installation/configuration.
