What You’ll Do

As a PQ Service Sales Specialist, your primary function is to sell life cycle services for Eaton Power Quality solutions (specifically 1Phase & 3Phase UPS systems) to targeted customers, managing all aspects of the customer relationship. You will provide sales and technical assistance in close coordination with authorized service providers, customers, end users, and area sales managers in UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar.

Your Main Duties

• Ability to develop intelligence regarding Eaton’s existing installed base, customer needs, preferences, and buying habits.
• Achieve annual service revenue goal. Provide accurate sales forecasting and customer relationship management data on revenue streams for the mapped installed base.
• Analyze and provide advice for customers’ existing equipment status and recommended replacement schedules.
• Communication skills must be adequate to interface effectively with all external stakeholders, including maintenance, engineering, and facility managers on the site.
• Provide support and guidance on service offering portfolio (specifically 1Phase & 3Phase UPS systems) to authorized service providers within the country.
• Develop timely and accurate service quotations with the help of centralized resources.
• Understand competitors’ offerings and articulate Eaton’s competitive advantages for power upgrade and replacement scenarios.
• Schedule and conduct frequent face-to-face visits with customers across the assigned geography to educate them on the component life cycle aspects.
• Responsible for technical and administrative support for activities including installation, testing, commissioning, repair, modifications, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, engineering change upgrades, etc. through the current service provider infrastructure within the country.
• Responsible for managing specific service contracts as the single point of contact interfacing with customer organizations while working to drive additional sales in those specific service contracts (including 24×7) and provide services quotes when required.
• Identify and isolate equipment start-up malfunctions and take corrective actions, in specific cases.
• Provide customers with basic application information via phone or on-site consultation and utilize the service provider network for 24-hour, 7 days a week on-call duty and respond to emergencies with minimal notification.
• Maintain service log and report of work performed, by self (where necessary) or the service provider network.
• Continuously improve personal, technical, and professional business skills enabling incumbent to service products to customer satisfaction through keeping current with product technology as measured by the ability to troubleshoot and repair various products and instruct others.
• Demonstrate safety consciousness in equipment handling, electrical and electronic procedures, and unique situations encountered at diverse work sites.

• تحسين المهارات الشخصية والتقنية والمهنية بشكل مستمر مما يمكّن الموظف من تقديم المنتجات لرضا العملاء من خلال متابعة أحدث تقنيات المنتجات كما يتم قياسه من خلال القدرة على استكشاف الأخطاء وإصلاحها وإصلاح منتجات مختلفة وتعليم الآخرين.
• إظهار الوعي بالسلامة في التعامل مع المعدات والإجراءات الكهربائية والإلكترونية، والمواقف الفريدة التي يتم مواجهتها في مواقع العمل المتنوعة.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (8-10) years of experience in servicing & sales of UPS systems and services for critical facilities, computer rooms, or control systems.
• Prior work experience on Eaton UPS systems is a great advantage.

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of electrical distribution and control systems is highly desirable; experience in UPS services is a must.
• Experience performing power quality measurements, troubleshooting, and analysis is highly desirable.
• Experience in planning, managing site work, and coordinating small to medium projects for preventative maintenance and modernization.
• Basic understanding of network functionality and sealed and battery storage theory and application.
• Understand the need for safety and comply with company and customer rules on safety.
• Must be self-motivated, with proven organizational and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize and balance workload while leveraging support personnel to meet customer and organizational needs.
• Knowledge of key customers within sales territories.
• Driving license is mandatory for this position.
