Full Job Description:

Job Summary: As the School Accountant, you will be responsible for managing our financial records, overseeing budgeting and forecasting. You will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by ensuring that our resources are used effectively and minimizing expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage budgeting processes, including monitoring expenditures and revenue.
• Assist in financial planning and forecasting to support school operations.
• Collaborate with the administrative team to streamline financial processes.
• Provide support during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
• Communicate financial information clearly to upper management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous accounting experience, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
