• Defining the change management policies, procedures, and standards, as well as ensuring compliance with them.
• Design a communication strategy that informs all relevant parties about the change process, its benefits and expected outcomes.
• Manage the change request lifecycle, from initiation to closure, and communicate with all relevant parties about the status and impact of changes.
• Accountable for the weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes, management, and leadership, including chairing and overall governance and communications framework.
• Planning and prioritising changes by developing and managing comprehensive change management plans, outlining timelines, resources, and key milestones.
• Identify potential risks associated with changes and develop mitigation strategies to correct any quality defects that could impact service delivery.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure changes align with business needs and deliver tangible value.
• Ensure stakeholders are aware of their roles and responsibilities in the change process.
• Drive process adherence and adoption ensuring that all change management procedures are followed consistently.
• Ensure that contingency plans are in place to manage any issues that arise during the change process.

Experience and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
• Ability to author clear and comprehensive documentation
• Highly organised, meticulous, structured and methodical in delivery
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
• Proficiency in ITSM and ITIL processes, with Certified ITIL v4 Foundation or higher certifications
• Minimum of 2 years working in a technology support function (preferably 2nd/3rd line support)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the administration and implementation of ServiceNow
• Certified System Administration and Implementation Specialist certifications in at least 2 of the following:
