The System & Network Administrator will assist the responsibility in managing for all organization servers and network requirements and providing technology support and training. 

Primary duties include analyzing servers performance, backups, maintaining workstations and networks, manages and provides hardware and software maintenance, training and consultation, and recommendations about future planning and development of resources. 

Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure maximum access to and the system & network administrator is responsible for leading a team consisting specialists in the areas of IT infrastructure and services and under the supervision of IT Manager.

1. Assists in directing various personnel functions (2 delegates) including, but not limited to, hiring, merit recommendations, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules in his/her area of expertise.

2. Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services.

3. Assist in managing and maintaining the overall administrative and operational activities of Information Technology Unit through direct supervision by the IT Manager.

4. Assist in managing the acquisition, installation and maintenance of the organization’s local area network hardware/software.

5. Responsible in managing network operations to include: troubleshooting connectivity problems; installing & maintaining routers; adding/terminating users; assigning rights and access; resetting passwords; establishing e-mail addresses; assessing and reporting operational status; performing backups and restores; etc.

6. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP).


7. Conducts technology orientation and exit briefing for all staff; prepares technology and systems for new and existing staff.

8. Ensures technology documents/certificates such as product registrations, SSL certificates, maintenance agreements, service contracts, etc. related to technology operations and/or technology services are evaluated, updated and processed.

9. As needed and appropriate but no less than annually, provides written technology policy guidance to managers, supervisors & staff.

10. Assist in analyzing technology, software and hardware requirements and develops functional specifications and to conducts comparative analysis and competitive bidding when necessary.

11. Responsible for troubleshooting workstations, networks, software applications, other’s needed customer related services. . 

12. Manages the information technology unit inventory and to include procurement and disposal. 

13. Ensures compliance with all software-licensing agreements. Manages and safeguards software media and associated licenses.

14. Responsible to creates and maintains LAN/WAN maintenance logs and for the innovation, mitigation and documentation of information technology risks and for the completion of monthly risk management reports.


15. Ensures networks, workstations, operating systems and software applications are operational and to ensure that hardware and software is updated the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to the organization.

16. Participates on committees, task forces, workgroups, etc. As directed, facilitates technology meetings and user groups.

17. Develops and maintains an excellent working relationship within organizations, ensuring the organization is well received and presented professionally and positively.

18. Respects confidentiality in discussing consumer/participant, staff, and organizational matters; also maintains confidentiality of organization, project, fiscal and personnel related information.

19. Maintains knowledge on current technology by reading technology periodicals, evaluating new technologies and attending trade-shows, technical seminars and training sessions

20. Assists in other duties as needed and directed.

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Management or related field.
  • With a minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology industry with exposure to Business Process knowledge in all domains like Finance, Sales, Production Planning, Materials Management, Quality Management, Project Systems, Costing, Business applications including ERP and Business Intelligence, Technology related to Server, PCs, Various operating systems, Wide area network, Local area network, Communications, Storage related technologies.
  • Work independently and be a team player within the department and the organization, Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and be a problem solver, communicate effectively, both in writing and in speaking, with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner. 


  • Work completely and accurately under time constraints and deadlines. 
  • Work in a fast pace environment and prioritize multiple work assignments. 
  • Provide excellent customer service. 
  • Technical wide expertise in aspects of LAN and WAN installation, maintenance, operation and programming, Methods and procedures related to the programming of routers, switches, hubs and telephones. 
  • Inventory control methods and work order- tracking system. 
  • Methods and procedures of operating mainframe and personal computers and peripheral equipment, Principles and techniques of systems and network analysis. 
  • Techniques of testing and communications systems. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in al collaborative team environment
  • 5 years with supervision duties.
