- Ability to assess and treat adult and pediatric patients in pre-hospital setting.
- Ability to successfully perform ALS interventions in accordance with protocols
- Ability to administer medication in adult and pediatric patients in accordance with protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient IT skills including use of electronic medical records systems
Required Work Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of paramedic experience in a busy 911 system
- Experience in a remote setting is preferred
- Prior military or fire experience preferred
- Hold a current unrestricted US license as a Paramedic – Required
- Possession of a Paramedic Level Certification (NRP) from the National Registry (NREMT) – Required
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification – Required
- Tactical Combat Casualty Care or Pre-Hospital Trauma Course– preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support- preferred
