Dar Al Shifa Hospital was established in 1963 as the first private hospital in the State of Kuwait. It began as a private maternity care hospital, and has since then steadily grown to encompass a wide spectrum of healthcare services. ↔️
In 2004 Dar Al Shifa Hospital established an affiliation with CARE-Fertility Unit, a leading independent fertility specialist in the UK. The hospital is distinguished by being the first and sole representative for CARE-Fertility’s in –vitro fertilization (IVF) unit in the Gulf Region and the Middle East.
In 2007, Dar Al Shifa Hospital became the first hospital in Middle East to receive accreditation by the (CCHSA), and it continuously introduces healthcare services as well as the latest medical equipment.
- Oversees and coordinates the provision of computer hardware/software and network support, to include systems design, implementation, and troubleshooting, security and backup design, user access, and administration.
- Acts as a primary point of liaison with hospital departments and staff to determine and interpret information requirements; plan, design, and develop integrated hardware/software solutions.
- Oversees the implementation of software applications as appropriate to meet specific information requirements; and the development of programs and generation of accurate reports.
- Oversees the development, installation and service of the local area network(s) for the hospital; and schedule and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
- Evaluates, procures, and coordinates installation of computer hardware, software, and associated supplies, in accordance with operational requirements and budget restraints.
- Oversees the supervision of IT personnel, which include work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluate performance and make recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
- Develops and implements systems to maintain records on employees, equipment inventories, and compliance activities.
- Develops annual IT & Computer Services operating budgets and provide fiscal direction to the IT.
- Develops or assists with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, objectives, short-and long-range planning, projects and programs; consistent with those of the hospital to ensure efficient and safe operation of the IT and assist in accomplishment of established goals.
- Represents the hospital at various relevant IT community and/or business meetings; promote existing and new programs and/or policies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards
- Must be a senior graphic designer with a good background in designing for screens, web design social media and prints as well.
- Generating high-quality graphics and computer animations printable.
- Creating, managing, and producing design solutions for a variety of uses: websites, product graphics, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, and photography printable.
- Be a part of all phases of the design process from strategy, customer experience research, conception & ideation, prototyping, execution, and analysis.
- Build an unforgettable brand experience across all digital channels including web, mobile, landing pages, social media platforms, and marketing campaigns.
- Have the opportunity to own the creative development process of all marketing materials. Use your knowledge of typography, color theory, and grid systems.
- Ensure that our branding is consistent and in line with Dar Al Shifa Hospital voice, tone and personality.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to understand the company’s messaging and create interactive content consistent with the company’s tone
- Promotes community awareness of marketing programs pertaining to The Dar Al- Shifa’s activities.
Videography and Photography
- Serve as the primary videographer and photographer for all marketing and communication needs, including promotional videos, event coverage, staff portraits, and marketing campaigns.
- Handle the entire process of video and photo production—from concept development, shooting, editing, and post-production to final delivery.
Content Creation
- Capture high-quality video and photo content for use across digital platforms, social media, websites, and marketing materials.
- Develop creative concepts for visual content that reflect the hospital’s brand and resonate with the target audience.
Video and Photo Editing
- Edit and enhance video and photographic content, ensuring professional standards and attention to detail.
- Use advanced editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom) to create polished and compelling visuals.
Collaborative Work
- Work closely with the departments teams to ensure all visual content aligns with the hospital’s messaging and brand identity.
- Assist in planning and executing visual content for advertising campaigns, social media initiatives, and digital marketing strategies.
Equipment Setup and Maintenance
- Set up and manage all video and photography equipment, including cameras, lighting, microphones, and other necessary tools.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and follow safety standards.
Trend Monitoring and Innovation
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in videography and photography to ensure fresh and innovative content.
- Experiment with new techniques and styles to continuously improve the quality and creativity of visual content.
- Receives and processes Diet Order list from nursing units (Check diet sheet with the diet card based from the meal ordering report in iCare and SAP systems according to each meal.)
- Responsible for Nasogastric feeding preparation based on dietitian or doctor order.
- Receives patient’s complains and reports it.
- Visits patients’ with modified diet and takes their diet orders.
- Follows meal plan of patient’s on special diet based from therapeutic dietitian assessment.
- Supervises tray line: Monitors the tray identification, check type, quantity and quality of patient food and ensures that the tray display meets the standards established by the hospital.
- Generates monthly reports to Hospitality Manager on patients with nutrition care plan.
- Summarizes the total number of daily and monthly meals for administrative and finance use.
- Audits compliance to catering Food Safety standards and generates reports to Hospitality manager
