Job Title:

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Research, plan, design, and develop new applications for electro-mechanical equipment and systems.
• Review contractor standards and specifications to determine mechanical engineering requirements.
• Design, repair, or review mechanical systems, including gas/diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Gather and correlate basic data for engineering research and development, including calculations and simple tests to improve hardware.
• Guide technicians in fabricating and installing mechanical systems, ensuring conformance with engineering designs and specifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
