- To properly handle the dishwashing machine, including turning on and off, de-liming, changing water and adding chemicals.
- To safely handle chemicals and keep them stored properly.
- To load and unload dishware and flatware from the dishwashing machine and store them properly.
- To ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.
- To handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.
- To respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- To perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
- To safely set up, clean and utilize the silver burnishing machine.
- To safely utilize all cleaning compounds, chemicals and materials.
- To follow a daily and weekly schedule of polishing all silver items in the hotel.
- To clean, polish, sort and transport required silver.
- To place damaged or excessively worn pieces in designated area for repair.
- To store and maintain silver properly.
- To ensure all needed supplies are on hand.
- To do requisition for supplies
- To notify the Supervisor of any shortages as soon as realized.
- To handle items at the last minute, which need to be polished.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair audio and video equipment throughout the hotel to ensure optimal performance and standard compliance.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks on all AV equipment to prevent disruptions and ensure safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to execute Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Corrective Work Actions (CWA), and general maintenance tasks as directed by Team Leaders.
- Ensure compliance with Fire, Life, and Safety (FLS) systems and maintain accurate records.
- Demonstrate proficiency in technical skills and maintain a high standard of work across all tasks.
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment in all areas, including storage and operation locations.
- Familiarize and comply with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes, and procedures.
- Understand the basics of engineering drawings and apply this knowledge in maintaining and setting up AV systems.
- Manage inventory levels of AV items in the store to maintain required par levels.
- Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management.

Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress
- Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system.
- Attentiveness and patience for customers
- Excellent presentation skills

- Team spirit
- Flexibility to work in shifts
