Take the lead in optimizing manufacturing and production workflows with SAP Business ByDesign. Collaborate with stakeholders, design impactful solutions, and support continuous improvements in a dynamic environment.
Role Overview
As an SAP Business ByDesign Consultant, you will manage the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP ByD solutions, specifically within manufacturing and production modules.
Key Responsibilities
SAP ByDesign Implementation & Support
- Design, configure, and deploy SAP ByD solutions tailored to manufacturing and production needs.
- Provide comprehensive post-implementation support to ensure functionality and efficiency.
Process Optimization
- Analyze client manufacturing workflows, identifying areas for improvement and creating tailored solutions.
Production Planning & Execution
- Manage production planning, shop floor control, quality management, and execution processes within SAP ByD.
Inventory & Logistics Management
- Develop inventory control, warehouse management, and logistics processes for seamless operations.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with operations managers and production teams to align SAP ByD features with business needs.
Training & Support
- Conduct end-user training sessions, create documentation, and offer ongoing technical support.
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements based on user feedback.
Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP Consultant, with 3+ years dedicated to SAP Business ByDesign in manufacturing.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of SAP ByD modules for production planning, materials management, inventory, and quality control.
Industry Knowledge
- Deep understanding of manufacturing workflows, production processes, and supply chain management.
Soft Skills
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management experience, including milestone tracking and delivery.
Language Proficiency
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
